Brent came over the night of the 13th. I had made some little plans as my gift to him, but he wanted to do his plans first. He told me to dress cool, but bring warm clothes. He wouldn't tell me where we were going, but told me that it was a three hour drive.

I don't know exactly where we were... I suppose someplace in Placer county, maybe Nevada county, but there was snow. He pulled over and we frolicked in it, threw some snowballs. Got our socks wet. Much fun!

Well, he ended up telling me that we were going to Truckee. No, I didn't know what was in Truckee, except my dad said I could find snow there. So that was awesome! I wanted to really play in the snow, you know?

Apparently, Lake Tahoe's near Truckee/in Truckee. We went to Tahoe! Squee! I'd never been there, and he had, and wanted to take me. Beautiful there. Snow everywhere... six feet in some places. Gorgeous homes. Wonderful company.
Trees all over. Yeah, you can tell I'm a city slicker.

Pictures! Sorry, but no cut. As I have previously said... I can't make them work. I'm pretty slow that way.

My friend, Rebecca's, grandfather who raised her has been in the hospital for the past week+.

They found cancer cells.

To anyone who believes in God, please pray for him?

And to anyone who doesn't, such as myself, please just think positively for him?

Thanks.

So my dad and I go to pick up the futon today, right? I load it, I unload it, I vacuum it to death, I spray Lysol and Febreeze on it until i'm blue in the face.

I go to put the frame together and my stupid ass forgot to get the springs! Of course, they forgot to give them to me, but still. So I call back, and the lady goes out and finds them. Well, turns out her uncle lives in the apartment right next door to me, so he's going to drop them off when he comes home from her house. Thank God, too. I might have this thing together some time before I die. :D

Update: I just made Rice-A-Roni for the first time by myself! I'me awesome at Pasta-Roni, though. :D But my Rice-A-Roni turned out awesome, too... so soon I shall be Master of Side-dishes! YAY!

Oh, and Hogan Knows Best is SO amusing. I haven't been able to quit laughing at the way Hogan tortures his kids. :P
